Anthony Wunderle was the fourth born child of Lori and Greg Wunderle.  Anthony was a welcome addition to the Wunderle household.  When Anthony was 16 months old, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoma Leukemia (ALL).  He was admitted immediately to Akron Children's Hospital.  Over the next three years, Anthony spent over 300 days in a hospital. Anthony had numerous rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and a bone marrow transplant.

Anthony always kept a great attitude through his treatments.  He received care from the finest medical professionals.  His family and friends were always at his side to help Anthony and his family through this very difficult time.

After battling cancer for three years, Anthony passed away on January 24, 1999.  This was a very sad time for his family and friends.   He is greatly missed today.

Anthony’s mother, Lori, promised Anthony that she would use his name to help other families.  Having been through these experiences, Lori has unique insight as to how to help other families in this situation.  With the help of her husband Greg and a very good friend, Holly Millican, Anthony’s Angels was started.  It is our hope, that other families will find comfort and peace through the efforts of Anthony’s Angels. Thank you for your support.
